2007 Last Time of Pakistan in Asia Cup

In the last 3 editions of Asian Roller Hockey Championship, Pakistan didn't have team. The last time was in 2007, in Calcuta, India. Below you can see our staff for this competition, where we played against Macau, India, Japan and Chinese Taipe.

At that time Punjab News Line reported:

"India beats Pakistan in Asian Roller Hockey"

CHANDIGARH: India got the better of Pakistan by 4-3 in the men roller hockey event on the second day of the 12th Asian Roller Hockey Championship at Salt Lake in Kolkata on Thursday, according to information received here. 

In their second league of the day, India lost to Macau 12-4.

Earlier, India defeated Pakistan in a tough encounter. Navdeep Puri scored the first goal for the home team in the fifth minute of the game. He struck again in the 12th minute. Usman Ashraf scored for the Pakistan to reduce the lead 1-2. Ashraf scored the equalizer in the 16th minute. Navdeep scored the third goal for India. India won the match 4-3.

Results: Men Roller Hockey: Japan bt Pakistan 7-2; Macau bt India 12-4; Japan bt Chinese Taipei 3-2. Women Roller Hockey: Japan bt Macau 7-1."

What about 2012 Asian Cup? There will be Pakistan team again after 5 years without international competition?
